MODERN BONNET LOUVRES
We stock a variety of Modern Bonnet Louvres which are sold as a pair to be used on car bonnets.
We currently have 4 different Modern Bonnet Louvre Styles now in stock:
- Modern Bonnet Louvers 150 - Straight (aluminium or steel)
- Modern Bonnet Louvers 150 - Angular (aluminium or steel)
- Modern Bonnet Louvers 130 - 150 Tapered (aluminium or steel)
- Modern Bonnet Louvers 120 - Straight (aluminium or steel) - (NEW narrower style)
All four versions are available in Aluminium or Steel. The price is the same for different materials.
Our current stock versions have 120mm, 130mm, 140mm or 150mm wide individual louvers pressed into the panels, and we are looking into stocking more sizes soon. If you would like something different please write to us at our email address: speedex@speedex.com.au
You can mount these louvers on your car bonnet, with the louvres usually facing with the louver opening towards the driver windscreen, so that air enters through the radiator, over engine and out through the bonnet louver, and away towards and over the windscreen.
Our Modern Bonnet Louver range will be expanded soon.
We provide 3.2mm mounting holes or no mounting holes - we currently have all variations with 3.3mm clearance holes to suit 1/8" inch rivet holes around the perimeter. But some customers have recently asked us if these panels can be supplied without rivet holes which we have now added to our product list below.
*****PLEASE note that while we keep alot of stock it may take up to 7 days to manufacture and send off louvers if not in stock. And louvers cannot fit inside an express post satchel so they have to be sent via Parcel Post which is usually 4-5 day delivery times by Australia Post. ****
Modern Bonnet Louvers - 150 Straight x (1 pair) - with or without mounting holes
Overall panel size = 200mm wide x 480mm long
These Modern Bonnet Louvers -150 Straight shown above are rectangular in shape and are symetrical between the right-hand and left-hand panels.
They are sold as a pair.
Overall Individual Panel Size = 200mm wide x 480mm long.
Louver Size = 15mm wide x 150mm long individual louvers.
Number of Louvers = 20 Louvers / Panel.
Louver Material = Aluminium (1.5mm thick, so very strong and not flimsy) or 1mm mild steel.
Louver Style = Straight.
These can come with pre-drilled mounting holes to suit 3mm or 1/8 rivets around perimeter of panels or no mounting holes depending on what you want.
Weight per pair = 850 grams approx for aluminium and approximately 1.5kg in steel.

These Modern Bonnet Louvers -120 Straight x 450mm long shown above are rectangular in shape and are symetrical between the right-hand and left-hand panels.
Please note that the picture shown above have panels which are only 150mm wide x 450mm long, whilst our standard stock below will be 160mm wide. We will update pictures with the 10mm wider panels as soon as they are available.
The panels "120 Straight" are narrower than the "150mm Straight" panels shown above.
They are sold as a pair.

These Modern Louvers (130 -150 - Tapered) shown above are angular in shape, and also tapered aswell. So they are narrower in the front and wider at the rear. They are symetrical between the right-hand and left-hand panels.
They are sold as a pair.
